Webmercs catalogue campaign and products bought before

Choose the campaign that holds your agreed assortment, and decide whether Flexshop may offer products bought before.

Who can do thisWorkspace Administrator

The Webmercs vendor connection decides which of the vendor's products Flexshop may offer. You have two sources, and you can use either, both or neither: a Catalogue campaign, which holds your agreed assortment, and Offer products bought before, which adds products your company has bought from the webshop recently. Both live in the Catalogue section of the vendor connection form. How the products appear on the Flexshop shelf is covered in the Flexshop articles.

Note

The Integration Hub is in English only. Its buttons, fields and messages are quoted in English in these articles, in the Danish articles too, exactly as you see them in the app.

Choose a catalogue campaign

At Webmercs, a vendor usually keeps each customer's agreed assortment in a campaign. Picking that campaign here means only its products can be put on the Flexshop shelf.

  1. Open the vendor connection: Edit on its row in Connections, or the form you are filling in for a new one. See Connecting your vendor's Webmercs shop.
  2. Make sure Shop API address (starting with https://), API username and API password are filled in. When you edit, the saved password counts, as long as you have not changed the address.
  3. Under Catalogue, click Load campaigns. The button reads "Loading campaigns..." while the Hub asks the shop.
  4. Pick the campaign in Catalogue campaign. Each option shows the name, the number of products and the end date, for example "Your Company 2026 (312 products, ends 2026-12-31)". Pick No catalogue to use none.
  5. Click Save.
PictureLoad campaigns needs the https address, username and password first. A campaign is optional, and so is Offer products bought before (off by default).

The hint under the picker sums it up: "The campaign that holds this customer's agreed assortment. Only its products can be put on the Flexshop shelf. Leave it empty for no catalogue."

  • If the account has no suitable campaign, you see "This Webmercs account has no active campaign with published products." Ask your vendor to publish one.
  • Before you load the list, the section shows the saved choice as "Current: " followed by the campaign's name.
  • On save, the Hub checks the campaign against the account's active campaigns. If it has ended or been removed in the meantime, you get "That catalogue campaign is not one of this Webmercs account's active campaigns. Load the list again and pick one."
  • Test connection also reports the campaign, for example "Catalogue campaign: Your Company 2026, 312 products."

Offer products bought before

The switch Offer products bought before sits under the campaign picker. It is off by default. When you switch it on, Flexshop can also offer products this customer has bought from the webshop in the last 24 months.

  • It works with or without a campaign. With both, Flexshop can offer the campaign's products and the products bought before.
  • The prices of products bought before are what was last paid. The vendor's current price can be different.
  • The switch takes effect when you click Save.
Tip

Because the prices of products bought before are the last price paid, the price people see in Flexshop for those products may differ from what the vendor charges today. If you only want the agreed assortment, leave the switch off and choose a campaign.

Which setup to choose

Catalogue campaignOffer products bought beforeWhat Flexshop can offer from the vendor
