Use the knowledge base
Find articles on a ticket, search the knowledge base and write new articles.
On a ticket, Relevant articles appears when published articles are linked to the ticket's customer or asset. Each says why it matched: Customer, Asset or Customer and asset.
Under Knowledge, search with Search the knowledge base… or filter by Categories and Tags. Articles are marked Published or Draft. On an article, Version history shows earlier versions and Restore this version brings one back, keeping the current text as a new version first.

Write an article
- Click New article, or New from template (Blank article, Troubleshooting guide, How-to, FAQ).
- Fill in Title, Category, Status (Published or Draft), Who for, Tags (type and press Enter) and Content. The editor has headings, lists, task lists, quotes, callouts, links, images, tables, and Edit and Preview. Tables can have resized columns, and the widths are kept when you save; see Tables in the editor.
- Optional: add Linked customers and Linked assets, so the article shows under Relevant articles on matching tickets.
- Click Create article. After the first save you can add Files and a cover image with Add cover image.
Who for: Staff only keeps it internal, Customers shows it to anyone signed in to your portal, and Anyone makes it readable without signing in. Check the text says nothing internal before choosing Customers or Anyone.
