Use the ticket list
Read, sort, filter and page through tickets, and use the team's queues.
Open Helpdesk in the side menu.
Columns

| Assignee | The technician's first name, or "unassigned". |
| Received | When the ticket was created. |

Sort
Click a column header. The first click sorts in the column's natural direction (newest dates, highest priority, A to Z), the second reverses it and the third returns to the default order. The default puts VIP tickets first, then higher priority, then the most recent. Sorting covers the whole filtered list, and empty values sort last.
Filter
- Search by #ID, subject, customer… matches the ticket number, subject or customer name. Type the number without the "#". To jump to one ticket, customer, contact or article from anywhere, use the top bar search (Cmd K or Ctrl K); see Find your way around.
- Status, Priority, Customer and Assigned (All, Unassigned, Me or a technician). Type appears when the desk has more than one ticket type, and Tag when tags exist. Each status shows how many tickets match your other filters, and choosing a closed status includes closed tickets.
- Three switches: VIP only, My customers (customers where you are on the account team) and Include solved (solved and closed tickets are hidden until you switch it on).
An active filter is highlighted, and changing a filter takes you back to page 1.
Queues
If your administrator has made queues, a row labelled Queues: shows All and one chip per queue with its live count. Click a chip to see that queue. While a queue is active the status counts are hidden. Changing any filter leaves the queue, and All goes back to the normal list. Ask an administrator for a new queue.
Paging
Under the list you see the count and page, page buttons and Per page (25, 75 or 150; remembered in this browser). Only the first 500 matching tickets can be paged through. With more, the line reads, for example, "500 of 12,350 tickets, narrow the filters to see the rest". The total is always exact.
Open a ticket
Click a row. The ticket opens in a panel over the list. Click Open as full page in the panel header for the full page, which has its own address you can bookmark or send to a colleague. Back to tickets returns to the list. An open ticket refreshes every 15 seconds, so new replies appear without reloading.
