Data residency

Where your workspace data is stored, and how a move to another region works.

Who can do thisTenant Admin

The SecurityData residency page shows which region hosts your workspace's data, across every Juvaro app. A move to another region would migrate the entire workspace: every app, file and audit record.

Your current region

The Current region card names the region where your data is stored today, with the badge current and the status Healthy · all data resident, which means all of your data is held in that region.

Today there is only one region

Juvaro hosts data in one region at the moment, so a move is not possible yet. Under Move to a different region the page says: "This is currently the only region Juvaro hosts data in. When another becomes available, you will be able to request a move from here."

There is nothing to set up or request. Your data stays where it is.

How a move would work

When a second region becomes available, the same section lists the regions you can move to. The steps will then be:

  1. Under Move to a different region, pick the target region.
  2. Read the confirmation "Migrate the whole tenant to" the chosen region. All apps go read-only briefly during the cutover, for up to about 72 hours. Users and integrations are unaffected once it is complete.
  3. Click Schedule migration. The toast says "Migration scheduled."

Scheduling creates a request; it does not start the move straight away. A banner shows "Migration to" the region and the date it was requested, and says Juvaro will coordinate the cutover window, with apps fully available until then. The Overview lists "Region migration to" the region under Needs attention while the request is open.

To stop, click Cancel migration on the banner any time before the cutover starts. The toast says "Migration cancelled."

What a migration involves

The page lists four points under What a migration involves:

  • The whole workspace moves: every app, file and audit record.
  • Scheduling a migration creates a request, and Juvaro coordinates the cutover window with you.
  • Apps go read-only briefly during the cutover (up to about 72 hours).
  • You can cancel the request any time before the cutover starts.

Messages you may see

Two refusals can come back from the server, in English: "tenant already resides in that region" if you pick the region you are already in, and "a migration is already scheduled" if a request is already open. Requests and cancellations are recorded in the activity log under Data residency. See Activity log and CSV export.
