Choosing your language
The Language card on My profile sets the language of every Juvaro app, on every device.
Who can do thisEvery user
Juvaro comes in four languages: English, Danish, Swedish and German. You choose yours once, on My profile, and the choice follows you into every Juvaro app on every device you sign in from. Each person chooses for themselves; there is no workspace-wide language.
Choose your language
- Open My profile from the account menu on the Launch Pad.
- Scroll down to the Language card. It says "Choose the language you read Juvaro in. It applies to every app, on every device you sign in from."
- Click one of the four chips: English, Dansk, Svenska or Deutsch. Each language is written in its own language, so you can find yours even if the page is in a language you do not read.
There is no save button. The page switches language straight away, the card shows Saving… and then Saved.
1/6On the Launch Pad, click your name at the top right.
- On the Launch Pad, click your name at the top right.
- Choose My profile (Min profil when the portal is in Danish).
- On the Language card, click Dansk.
- It saves at once: there is no Save button.
- Gemt. The translated cards switch to Danish; the rest of My profile stays English.
- Back on the Launch Pad, everything is in Danish, and so are the other Juvaro apps that have Danish.
If the save fails, the page goes back to the language you had, and the card shows the reason. "Juvaro doesn't speak that language yet - pick one from the list." means the language you sent is not one of the four.
Where your choice applies
- Stored with you, not with the browser. Your choice is saved on the server for your account, so a new laptop or phone shows the same language as soon as you sign in.
- Every app reads it. The portal and the Juvaro apps use the same setting. For example, Asset Management reads its language from here; see Language and email settings.
- Before you choose. If you have never picked a language, Juvaro uses your browser's language when it is one of the four, and English otherwise.
- One place only. This card is the only language switch in the portal.
What stays in English
Some screens in the portal are not translated yet and stay in English whatever you choose:
- The body of My profile (the Language, Date and time and Notifications cards are translated) and the whole Account & security page.
- The profile menu at the top right of the administration pages. The Launch Pad account menu is translated.
- The first-password screen, the workspace picker and the session-expired screen.
- The names of the roles in each app, such as Application Administrator or AMS Technician.
- Error messages from the server, shown as "403 - message".
The Integration Hub is in English only and does not follow this setting. See What is the Integration Hub?
The Account & security page has a Language row under Preferences that says "English · Coming soon". That row is not used to choose your language. Use the Language card on My profile.
