Giving people access
Grant the CRM roles in the Tenant Portal, and see what someone without a role sees.
Who can do thisTenant Administrator
CRM roles are given in the Tenant Portal, not in CRM. The CRM product appears there as Customer Relationship Management ("Pipeline, contacts & deals.") with two roles.
Grant a role
- In the Tenant Portal, open the person (or a group they belong to).
- Give them Customer Relationship Management with the role User for everyday work, or Application Administrator for a CRM Administrator.
- Ask them to open CRM from the Launch Pad. The sidebar and the role under their name follow when their sign-in refreshes, which can take up to about an hour.
| Tenant Portal role | In CRM |
|---|---|
| User | CRM User |
| Application Administrator | CRM Administrator |
| Workspace administrator (Tenant Admin) | Counts as CRM Administrator |
Seats
CRM is listed at kr 120 per seat, and there is no self-service trial. A seat on its own does not give access: each person also needs a CRM role.
What a person without a role sees
They still get the whole sidebar (without Management). Every page loads and then shows its own error, because the server refuses the data. The Dashboard explains it:
Other products
Helpdesk and AMS read and write CRM's companies themselves, so a workspace without CRM users still gets customers created from AMS or Helpdesk. See CRM as the customer master.
