The Management hub
Six tabs of workspace configuration, for CRM Administrators only.
Who can do thisCRM Administrator
SystemManagement holds the configuration for the workspace: "What is set here applies to everyone working in it." It has six tabs, each with its own cards.
The tabs
| Tab | What you set | Article |
|---|---|---|
| Custom fields | Your own fields on companies and people (opens by default). | Custom fields on companies and people |
| Consent & retention | Consent wordings, how long a record is kept, and the lapsed review. | Consent purposes, retention and the lapsed review |
| Pipelines & loss reasons | Sales processes, their steps and why deals are lost. | Sales processes, steps and loss reasons |
| Lead sources | Where leads come from. | Lead sources |
| Catalogue | What you sell, for quote lines. | The catalogue |
| Commercial settings | Your company on quotes, quote defaults, document numbers. | Commercial settings and document numbers |
A new workspace
A new workspace starts with nothing set up. Before your team can sell, set up at least:
- A sales process with one live step, or no deal can be opened.
- Commercial settings, or no quote can be created.
- Catalogue items, so quote lines can be picked instead of typed.
What Management does not have
There are no workspace modes or feature switches in CRM, no duplicate rules and no application management. The card "What is not here yet" on the Management page says the same about duplicate rules and application management.
