Orders and invoicing status
What an accepted quote becomes, and the invoicing status you set by hand.
Who can do thisCRM UserCRM Administrator
An order is what an accepted quote becomes: "What accepted quotes became, newest first." Orders are made only by recording a quote's acceptance; there is no way to create one by hand, and an order is never deleted.
The Orders list
- Chips All and one per invoicing status.
- Columns No., Title, Customer, Invoicing (a chip), Delivery, One-off and Per month.
- A new order can take up to a minute to appear after the acceptance is recorded.
Set the invoicing status
CRM is not connected to an accounting system, so invoicing is set here by hand. Open the order, choose the Invoicing status and click Save invoicing status.
| Status | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Awaiting delivery | The order is new. Every order starts here. |
| Ready to invoice | Delivered, waiting for the invoice. |
| Partly invoiced | Some of it has been invoiced. |
| Invoiced | All of it has been invoiced. |
| Credit note pending | A credit note is on its way. |
Set the delivery date
Choose the Delivery date and click Save delivery date. Empty the date and save to clear it.
The order page
Besides the two settings, the order shows its lines, its totals (one-off, per month recurring, per year recurring and by usage estimated, so they add up), "From quote #{number}" with a link back, and a note that the recurring lines are on a subscription shown on the customer page. See Subscriptions and ending one.
