Add a delegation
- Open Approvals and scroll to Delegations.
- Choose a person in Delegate ("Choose a delegate…").
- Optionally pick an Ends (optional) date. Without one, the delegation runs until you revoke it.
- Click Add delegation.
- Only employees with a linked sign-in account can be chosen. With none: "No linked employees available".
- The list also offers you yourself. Choosing yourself has no effect, so pick a colleague.
- Clicking Add delegation with nobody chosen gives "Choose a delegate.".
Read the list
The table shows Delegate, Starts, Ends and Status: "Active" (green), "Expired" (amber) or "Revoked" (grey). The Delegate column shows the delegate's user id, a long code, not their name. To check who it is, compare it with Linked account on the employee record, or ask HR.
With none set up, the card says "No delegations".
End a delegation early
Click Revoke on the row. It ends at once, without asking.
