Finding your way around
The top bar, the left rail with its six pages, and the profile menu.
HCM has a white top bar, a left rail with up to six pages, and the page itself on a light grey background. The accent colour is violet.
The top bar
On the left: the HCM tile, HR Management, a slash and your workspace name. On the right: your profile button. There is no search box, no bell and no New button.
The left rail
The rail is one flat list. You only see the pages your role allows.
| Page | Who sees it | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| My Leave | Everyone | Your details, balances and leave requests. This is where HCM opens. |
| My Documents | Everyone | Documents HR keeps on file for you. |
| Approvals | Managers, HR administrators | Leave requests waiting for your decision, and delegations. |
| Team | Managers, HR administrators | A month calendar of who is out, and your reporting line. |
| Employees | Managers, HR administrators | A read-only roster for managers; the full directory and org chart for HR. |
| Settings | HR administrators | Nine tabs: leave types, approval rules, custom fields, departments, holidays, salary grades, document categories, identity generation and field audit. |
An employee record opens when an HR administrator clicks a name on Employees; it has no rail item. Any address HCM does not know takes you back to My Leave. Collapse at the bottom of the rail makes it narrow.
The profile menu
Click the profile button on the right of the top bar.
- The header shows your HCM role and the workspace name.
- My profile and Account settings open the Tenant Portal. HCM has no profile page of its own.
- Switch workspace appears only if you belong to more than one workspace.
- Sign out (in red) signs you out of Juvaro.
The profile button shows your HCM role on both lines, not your name, and the initials in the circle may not match your name. Nothing is wrong with your account.
How these articles show labels
- A button, field or menu label looks like Request leave. A path through pages and tabs looks like SettingsLeave types.
- The text between quotation marks is exactly what HCM prints, including lowercase values such as "pending".
- Where the app shows a long dash, these articles show a plain hyphen.
- Every name, number and date in the pictures is made up.
