Date formats and language
HCM is English only, and some dates follow your Juvaro profile while leave dates are always year-month-day.
HCM is in English only
HCM has no translations and no language picker. Every button, field and message is in English, whatever language your browser or your Juvaro profile uses. The articles in this knowledge base quote the labels exactly as HCM shows them.
Two things appear in Danish inside the English screens:
- The Danish public holidays, such as Skærtorsdag, Grundlovsdag and Juleaftensdag. They are data, not labels.
- The name of the policy template "Denmark - ferieloven".
Details are in Language support.
Where your date format applies
HCM reads your date format, time format and time zone from your Juvaro profile. You change them in the Launcher, not in HCM. Not every date follows them, though.
| Dates shown | Format |
|---|---|
| Delegations, documents, History, the org chart | Your profile format, for example 18/10/2026 or 18.10.2026 |
| Leave dates: My requests, Approvals details, balance statements, company days | Always year-month-day, for example 2026-11-23 |
| Ready since (Approvals), When (Field audit) | Your browser's language and region |
| The month title on Team | Your browser's language, so a Danish browser shows "november 2026" |
Numbers of days are shown with a decimal point, for example 2.08 days a month.
If a leave date looks "backwards" to you, it is not your setting: HCM always prints leave dates as year-month-day.
