My Leave at a glance

Your details, your balance cards and your requests, all on one page.

My Leave is where HCM opens. "Request time off, track your balances, and follow your requests through approval." It has four parts, top to bottom.

PictureThe top of My Leave: your details and one balance card per tracked leave type. Vacation builds up over the year, so it shows "available"; Child's sick day has a fixed allowance, so it shows "days left".

Your details

Your Name, Employee #, Job title and Status, as HR has recorded them. You cannot change them here. If something is wrong, ask HR.

Balances

One card per tracked leave type:

  • The type's colour dot and name.
  • A big number: "14.5 available" for a type that builds up over the year, or "18 / 25 days left" for a type with a fixed yearly allowance. A negative number is red.
  • A small line such as "8.33 of 25 earned so far · 5 carried in".
  • "2 pending approval" when you have requests waiting.
  • A Used meter.

Untracked types, such as sick leave, have no card. With no tracked type at all, the section says "No tracked leave balances". Click How your balances add up for the year-by-year statement; see Understanding your balance.

Request leave

The form to ask for time off. See Requesting leave.

My requests

Every request you have made: Type, Dates, Days, Status and Note. The status is a lowercase word: "pending" (amber), "approved" (green), "rejected" (red) or "cancelled" (grey). With none yet: "No leave requests yet".

Click a row to open it. From there you can cancel it; see Cancelling a leave request.

Tip

If My Leave says "No employee record - contact HR", your account is not linked to an employee record yet. Only HR can fix that. See "No employee record" and other access messages.
