Decide many requests at once

Tick up to 50 requests, give one reason for all of them, and approve or decline them together.

On Requests you can approve or decline several requests in one go, with one reason for all of them.

  1. Line is on Requests, Pending. She ticks Only what I can decide.
  2. The Supporter and Finance steps disappear: they need roles she does not hold. Three requests are left.
  3. She ticks all three. The bar shows 3 selected, the total, and that approving will not order any of them yet.
  4. She writes one reason for all of them. The policy requires a reason.
  5. She presses Approve 3.
  6. Decided 3, ordered 0. The three move to the Approved tab. A bulk decision emails nobody, so tell the requesters yourself if they need to know.
WalkthroughBulk decide. At most 50 at a time, one reason for all of them, and nobody is emailed about a bulk decision.

Decide in bulk

  1. Open WORKRequests, tab Pending. Tick Only what I can decide to hide what you cannot take.
  2. Tick the requests, or tick the header box Select every request you can decide.
  3. The bar shows "{n} selected", "{amount} total", and either "Approving will also order {n} of them." or "Approving will not order any of them yet."
  4. Write One reason for all of them. It is required while the policy is on.
  5. Press Approve {n} or Decline. Clear unticks everything.

The outcome reads "Decided {n}, ordered {m}." If some could not be decided: "Decided {n}. {m} could not be decided and are unchanged." Requests that did not reach the vendor as planned are listed one by one.

Limits and side effects

  • At most 50 at a time: "Select at most 50 at a time."
  • You can only tick requests whose next step you can decide yourself.
  • A bulk decision emails nobody. Requesters and the next approvers get no email about it. Tell people yourself if they need to know.
  • If approving completes a chain while both vendor switches are on, those requests are sent to Webmercs as real orders. The bar warns you with "Approving will also order {n} of them."
