Why can't I send my request?

The messages that stop a request, what each means, and who can fix it.

Sometimes the request drawer will not send. The message tells you why. Most causes are set-up problems only a Flexshop administrator can fix.

Messages in English

A few messages are always shown in English, also in a Danish portal. Examples:

  • "justification must not be blank."
  • "catalogue item {id} is not available to you, so it cannot be requested. Ask your Flexshop administrator to make it available to you."
  • "This request cannot be sent: "{name}" cannot be ordered right now. Ask your Flexshop administrator to open it in the Storefront and save it again."
  • "approval rule '{name}' names the step role '{role}', which this version does not know..."

For administrators

Run the same case through Try it on Approval flows. It shows the same problem as a warning before anyone hits it; see Test your rules with Try it.
