Returns
Devices on their way back, It arrived and It never came, Record a return, and the eight return statuses.
WORKReturns lists devices employees have handed back. Grading sets the second-hand price, and listing puts the device in the marketplace. The asset record itself stays in Asset Management and is updated there; Flexshop writes nothing to it.
Devices on their way
When an employee presses Send this back in the portal, the device appears in the card On their way ({count}), and every shop admin gets an email. It has not arrived yet.
- It arrived: the device is with the shop. Its status becomes Needs a grade.
- It never came: the return is closed as Never arrived. The employee sees "You did not send this". No reason is asked for, and the employee is not emailed.

Record a return yourself
For a device handed in at the desk, press Record a return and fill in Device, Serial number, Who had it, New price and, optionally, Asset id. The asset id is only a link to the asset in Asset Management; nothing is written there. Press Record it.
Grade and decide what happens next
- Click one of the four grade buttons A to D in the Condition column. Resale shows the price: the new price times the grade's multiplier, or "No resale at all" for grade D.
- Open Next step (the chevron) and choose the terms ("Choose the terms"), the category ("Choose a category"), and then Move into the marketplace or Recycle it. Before grading you can also Remove the return.

The statuses

The employee is never told the grade or what the device fetched.
