Grant access

Give people a seat and a role for AMS in the Tenant Portal, and see where AMS points you there.

Access to AMS is granted centrally in the Tenant Portal, not inside AMS. That keeps identity and access the same across every Juvaro product.

Give someone access

  1. In the Tenant Portal, open Users & access and click the person.
  2. Open the Access tab.
  3. On the Asset Management row, give a Seat and pick a Role: AMS Viewer, AMS Technician, AMS Auditor or Application Administrator.
  4. Click Save access.

The portal says it plainly: pick a role for each app you have given a seat; a seat with no role grants no access. A group can also grant AMS to all its members.

What each role can do is in Your role in Asset Management and the Roles matrix.

From inside AMS

Under Administration, the Platform card reads Access is governed in Tenant Management. Its links, Users & access, Groups and Roles & permissions, open the matching Tenant Portal pages (Open in Tenant Management).

Good to know

  • A role change can take up to five minutes to reach AMS.
  • Keep at least two Application Administrators. With Four-eyes approvals on, nobody approves their own disposal, return or reservation request, so a single administrator's requests can never be decided. A reservation type that needs approving is refused outright when nobody else could approve it.
  • Teams and their members come from Tenant Management too. See Locations, vendors and teams.
