Stock

Track consumables and bulk items by quantity: issue, receive and spot low stock.

Stock keeps consumables and bulk items by quantity, such as chargers, cables and toner, with a reorder level for each.

Issue or receive stock

  1. Open Stock and click Adjust on the item.
  2. Choose Issue (taking items out) or Receive (putting items in).
  3. Set the Quantity, and click Confirm.

  2. The popover starts on Issue. Click Receive.
  3. Enter the quantity received, 20.
  4. Click Confirm.
  5. On hand is 23 and the level is OK again.

Add a stock item

  1. Click New item.
  2. Fill in SKU, Name, Category, Unit, On hand, Reorder at, Max, Bin and Vendor.
  3. Click Save.

Read the levels

Each item shows a Level: OK, Reorder, Out of stock or Overstock. Switch between All levels and Low stock only. A Low stock alert opens when an item reaches its reorder level.

Stock is for things you count. Equipment you track one by one, even cheap peripherals, is an asset; the seeded Peripherals type is kept by quantity too. Stock needs the Stock feature switch, and can be imported (matched by SKU).
