Feature switches
Show or hide each feature, and relax the four-eyes and sign-off controls, in the Workspace pane.
The Workspace pane decides how much of AMS this workspace shows and enforces. Hiding a feature never touches its data: switch it back on and everything returns.
Open the Workspace pane
- Open AdministrationWorkspace.
- Under Workspace mode, choose Simple or Advanced. A workspace that never chose shows Not chosen yet, and you must pick one to save.
- Switch individual features under Surface features and Behavior.
- Click Save. The pane says Saved. The side menu may take a moment to update; reload if it does not.
Mode changes are recorded in the activity log.

Behavior: what the workspace enforces
Every record keeps being written either way; relaxing a control never loses history.
- Four-eyes approvals
- On: a disposal, a return and a reservation that needs approving wait for a second Application Administrator, and Approvals appears in the menu. Off: "Disposals will no longer require a second manager." The asset page then offers Dispose asset… and Return asset…, which archive the asset at once, and the person who booked a reservation may confirm its return.
- Flow sign-off
- On: an onboarding or offboarding run waits for a manager's Sign off after its last step. Off: runs complete when the last step closes, with no manager sign-off.
What each mode switches on is listed in Defaults at a glance.
