Compliance checks

Schedule safety checks, calibrations and inspections, and mark them complete.

Compliance checks schedule recurring safety checks, calibrations and inspections on assets, and record when each was done.

PictureSince the October 2026 release, Compliance and Audits are in the side menu under Operations for Auditors and Application Administrators.

Open Compliance

Open Compliance in the sidebar under Operations. It is shown to Auditors and Application Administrators when the workspace has the Compliance checks feature switched on. Application Administrators also find it as a card on the Administration page.

Add a check

  1. Click New check.
  2. Pick the Type: Safety check, Calibration, PAT test, Inspection or Certification.
  3. Pick the Asset, and set Interval (months), Next due, Certificate and Responsible.
  4. Click Save.

Mark a check complete

Click Mark complete on the check. The next due date moves on by the interval.

Each check shows Overdue, Due soon, OK or No date. The Compliance due alert opens 60 days ahead by default.

Checks from PM checks

A type's PM checks add checks to every new asset of that type, and a due check raises a work order. Finishing the work order completes the check. See Maintenance and work orders.

An asset with a completed check has an inspection history and cannot be deleted. Compliance needs the Compliance checks feature switch; the register can be exported under Reports as Compliance status.
